2. Information We Collect

To deliver these services we collect: account credentials, profile information, precise GPS location and movement data, photographs and media you upload (including trail-cam and harvest photos), property and lease details, hunt logs and journal entries, device information, weather and location queries, payment and subscription details, and communications you send through the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide and Operate the Service

Create and authenticate your account.
Display and sync your maps, waypoints, harvests, journal, crews, and other content.
Record GPS breadcrumbs and cache offline tiles.

Power AI Features

Analyze submitted photos for scoring, identification, and tagging.
Generate forecasts and movement predictions.
Convert speech to text. AI inputs are processed by trusted third-party providers.

Personalize Your Experience

Remember interface preferences (HUD positions, panel layouts, map style) per device class.
Tailor weather, sun, and prediction data to your location.

Communicate With You

Send transactional and (optional) marketing email.
Deliver push and in-app notifications you’ve enabled.
Respond to support requests.

Process Payments

Handle subscription purchases, renewals, and fraud detection through payment processors.

Maintain Security & Improve Products

Detect abuse, enforce single-active-session limits, and verify role-based access.
Use aggregated, de-identified analytics to fix bugs and develop features.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

Cloud hosting and database providers.
Authentication providers (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In).
AI providers for scoring, tagging, forecasts, and speech-to-text.
Map & tile providers.
Weather and environmental data providers.
Email delivery and push notification services.
Payment processors (we do not store full card numbers).

With Other Users (Only When You Choose)

Crews: members see your shared location, pins, and chat.
Marketplace: your listings, photos, and chosen contact details are visible to verified users.
Public content: anything you post in public-facing areas is visible to other users.

For Legal & Safety Reasons

To comply with law, subpoena, or court order.
To protect the rights, property, or safety of Ridge Runner Pro, our users, or the public.
To investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. You will be notified of any change in ownership.

Aggregated or De-Identified Data

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you for research, marketing, and product improvement.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), the EEA, the UK (GDPR/UK GDPR), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws have additional protections, which we honor regardless of your location.

Access: request a copy of your data. Most is viewable and exportable in-app.
Correct: update profile and content directly in the App, or contact us.
Delete: remove individual entries or your entire account (subject to legal retention).
Portability: export data via in-app KML/KMZ, CSV, image downloads, or contact us for a full export.
Opt out: unsubscribe from marketing email; disable push notifications and location services in your device settings.
Restrict / object (EEA/UK): object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting prior processing.
Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise these rights, use Settings → Privacy in the App or email privacy@ridgerunnerproapp.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Deleted content is removed from active systems within a reasonable period; backup copies are purged on a rolling schedule.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, role-based access controls, row-level security on databases, and single-active-session enforcement. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

Ridge Runner Pro is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.

9. Children’s Privacy

Ridge Runner Pro is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
